Christmas Tree Size Guide

How to measure a real Christmas tree

Choosing the perfect Christmas tree for your room is easy. If you already know the height of your ceiling then you are good to go, if not grab a tape measure and note the full height of your room. Also think about the space around the tree, a 9 ft tree in a small room is not going to leave you much space but would look impressive in a larger lounge or hallway.

All trees vary in width but as a rule of thumb the taller the tree the wider the tree. However, you can trim your tree to fit the width of your space.

Our fresh cut trees are available from 4 ft to 9 ft and our pot grown trees are available from 2.5 ft to 5 ft. Our fresh cut trees are measured from the base of the trunk to the top of the leader. Pot grown trees are measured from the base of the pot to the top of the leader. Our pots are 26 cms wide and 22 cms tall.

Standard ceiling height in the UK is 7.9 ft and therefore our most popular fresh cut trees are 6 and 7 ft.
